Story Time with Prevel!
From a young age, my grandmother always shared amazing Korean home remedies and natural alternatives for self-care routines. From avocado and mayonnaise hair masks to egg whites and honey face masks, you name it!
There were some funky natural alternatives where my responses were usually “that’s for eating, not for self-care” to “hmm as if this would work” but best believe, time after time, it worked like a charm! Making my hair and body feel soft and supple each time.

With the sudden amount of endless spare time during the first lockdown in 2020, I became curious about making my own home remedies and natural alternatives for my self-care routines.
Wanting to impress my grandmother about my own little hacks, I started researching and trialling. However, with a full time teaching job, it took 2 long years to develop a final product that I fell in love with.

Sharing a product that I had created by hand, personally choosing the best ingredients for each product, I found a pocket of happiness. A pocket of happiness, seeing family and friends actually enjoying MY OWN products!
That is how The wknd GLOW was founded. From wanting the best natural self-care products for myself, to sharing it with family and friends, to now sharing it with the world. Follow my journey to find out what other natural self-care products I get to share with you.

Our Products
Inpired by the natural ingredients our planet grows for us, we set out to reimagine our relationship with our skin. We wanted every indulgent ingredient in every artisanal The wknd GLOW creation to be put there by our very hands.
Why? Because our skin absorbs nearly seventy percent of everything applied to the surface. That’s seventy percent of all the bleaches, aluminimum/alumina, sulfates, silicones, steroids, and chemicals found in mass-produced skincare.
That’s why we got rid of the factory and chemicals, and took it back to the basics. We concocted new alternative self care products with natural, skin loving and skin safe ingredients.
You can feel, smell and see the difference. It changed our relationship to our skin, and we hope it does the same for you.
